TEIXEIRA REACTS TO NEW TEAMMATES

Mark Teixeira, prized first baseman and cornerstone of Milt's team, reacted when told how the rest of his infield looked..."Blalock, yeah, I remember him...played with him in Texas...decent hitter but always hurt...I actually think he went on the DL with a pulled eyelash once..."

On Blake DeWitt, he seemed confused..."I have no idea who this kid is, I thought he worked in the clubhouse...when he came up to me to introduce himself, I really thought that he was going to ask me to buy him beer or something..."

On Miguel Tejada..."honestly, I didn't even know he was still playing...but hey, look at Julio Franco...he played until he was almost fifty, right? Miggy could surpass that in a couple of years..."

On Chris Iannetta..."I like this kid...he looks like he's got some pop...and with a last name like that, I'm hoping he has some mob ties...I don't know a lot of people in New York..."

Living off of his Father's legacy and willing to pay me that much money as his little play thing.
